What makes Bath Exfoliating Gloves so unique?
Bath Exfoliating Gloves are manufactured using high quality natural plant fibers woven together using an ancient technology. The unique texture of the Bath Exfoliation Glove allows the tissue to pick up dead skin and dirt while moving the glove up and down your body while also stimulating blood circulation.
When you use your glove, you can see dead skin and dirt fall off the skin leaving you with very clean and soft skin.
The Bath Exfoliating Gloves are also reusable and environmentally friendly.
Can I use a Bath Peeling Glove on my face?
We recommend using a very gentle facial sponge on your face instead. Avoid any acne or open wounds as exfoliating these areas can lead to the transmission of bacteria.
How do I wash a Bath Exfoliation Glove?
After each use, rinse the glove using natural soap and hot water. Put the glove in a clean, dry place to air dry.
Avoid putting the glove in the washing machine as this may damage the woven fibres.
Can I use creams, soaps, or oils with a Bath Exfoliating Glove?
No. Lavender exfoliating gloves work by using direct friction on the skin. The presence of creams, soaps, or oils on the skin will affect the exfoliation process.
Can I use a Bath Exfoliating Glove when I feel a sunburn?
It is not recommended to use your gloves on sunburned or injured skin because deep exfoliation may further irritate your skin.
How often do I use a Bath Exfoliating Glove?
It is recommended to use your glove only once a week to ensure that you do not strip your skin of natural body oils. People with oily skin can use the glove twice a week.
When do I need to replace a Bath Exfoliation Glove?
We recommend replacing the glove every 8-10 weeks to ensure proper hygiene.
What to do if a lavender peeling glove does not work:?
There may be several reasons why you may not achieve the desired results:
Make sure you have taken a hot bath or shower for at least 5-10 minutes.
This is key to achieving great exfoliation results as this will soften the outer layers of the skin, allowing your glove to pick up dead skin and dirt.
Make sure you remove yourself from any water and that your glove is wet. When using the mitt on your skin, make sure that you are firmly (but not too firmly!) scrubbing your skin using long strokes in an upward and downward motion.
It may take a few minutes before you start to see your skin begin to peel off.
The amount of skin peeling depends on the skin type. Dry skin tends to peel more than oily skin.
Hairy areas of skin peel off to a lesser extent than shaved areas.
Avoid over-exfoliating if you are already using another scrub, as you may not see a peeling of your skin.
Note that although you may not visually see your skin peeling
Rest assured that you will still achieve great exfoliation.
